Members of the European Parliament today
approved by a show of hands their
report on IMI. No further discussions took place, showing the complete support of the European representatives for IMI.
This vote opens the way for the Council to formally approve the Regulation setting up the Innovative Medicines Initiative, and make IMI a reality in 2008.
