InnoMed - PredTox

PredTox aims to improve assessing the toxicology of potential new treatments at an early phase in drug development. This involves the construction and delivery of an integrated database populated with data from in vivo experiments of compounds with known toxicity profiles. It will include traditional endpoints supplemented with information from newer techniques i.e. transcriptomics, metabonomics and proteomics. This will among other things demonstrate how the different pharmaceutical companies can share scientific information between themselves, academia and biotechs in order to implement the application of new tools to aid decision making in Preclinical Safety.
